Customer Boot Reviews
Outstanding boot, great feel on the rudder pedals and very durable and comfortable in various terrain. I've been wearing mine every day for nearly 6 years and they are finally time to retire based on just the tread wear (though I had to put a rubber patch where I heel strike after 3 years)-- will still be great around the house and yard for years to come. When I first got the boot there was a minor aesthetic issue with the boot rubber meeting the leather. I sent a picture to Belleville expecting a bottle of glue and an apology but they exceeded my expectations and sent me a brand new boot straight away. When I finally need to switch to the OCP version, I will undoubtedly be buying Belleville's coyote version of this boot.
Great boots. No break-in period, all day comfort. They fell like trainers but offer great support and when terrain underfoot is a bit rough or wet. I'd highly recommend them.
Extremely comfortable, durable, light weight, and excellent grip! However, they run a little tight. Order 1/2 size larger. I am normally a 10W (or EE) in almost every other boot I've owned. I should have ordered a 10.5W. I still have the 10W, but I have to wear very thin socks with them, and they're still a bit tight. The laces are short, so buy longer laces when purchasing these boots.
Seriously, other than the size issue, they're the best flight boot I've ever owned!

I've had multiple pairs of these since they first came out. Much improvement over the previous "flight boots." Do not hesitate. One week break in is a must. Like others have said, expect to buy them at least 1/2 size larger. Only complaint is the shoe lace length. Its way too short. My first pair was perfect, but the newer version's laces are too short to knot the lace ends and be able to still get the boot off of your foot when untied. I needed to wrap the laces around my ankles (like normal) on my old 693's. The laces need to be 5-6" longer.
Be weary of sizes. My 690 Bellevilles are an 11.5R. An 11.5R in the 693s are no way the same size. Way too small. Hopefully Belleville fixes this soon. Hard way to find out the wrong size when you're OCONUS.
Great boots. I had to return the 1st pair. I wear size 12R. I bought 12.5W. My toes touched the end of the boots. I wear 2 pairs of socks. I sent them back and got 13W. Make sure you read the Return Policy. The 13W fit just right. Right out of the box they felt good. No brake in time at all. Great job on these boots.
When you are away from home like we are you need a boot that is dependable and lightweight. I score a 5 for your boots and thank you for the quality and concern for the flight community.
