Just shy of seven months of WORK use now. I've worn Bellville boots for almost 20yrs. I ordered the same size that I used to wear in the Sabre and they fit perfect. I work walking on cement aisles with cement walled narrow walkways. I spend a lot of time climbing, crawling, kneeling, and walking on cement surfaces. There are plenty of hazards that these boots have faced from sharp wires protruding to being scuffed on the underside of cement structures. PREFACE: After I tried these on walking around at home I IMMEADIATELY took the insole out. The boots fit perfect but the molded insole did not conform to my foot so I replaced it w/ an aftermarket work boot insole. I LOVE THESE BOOTS. The EVA midsole is SUPER comfortable and squishy. The leather upper has held up superbly. If I could change anything about these it would be a slightly more durable sole (e.g. Vibram). But to be fair; a Vibram sole may have worn down the same. The next pair that I'm ordering is the waterproof model as after getting plenty dirty and initial usage my feet do get wet from wet grass to getting the boots wet at work. I highly recommend for anyone looking for a comfortable boot that is reasonably durable through rough work (you may want to replace the insoles).

This is a good boot other than running smaller than normal Belleville sizing. I've worn more traditional style Belleville boots models for over 20 years. I've always sized down consistent with the company's guidance https://www.bellevilleboot.com/index.php?l=page_view&p=product_sizing. However, that guidance didn't work with the BV505s. The boot is shorter and the toe box narrower than other Bellevilles.

The boot is light and overall very comfortable. On the first week of use it started making a squeaky sound when walking, it can be very annoying. Almost, as if it had a little rock inside the sole.
I feel like there is not enough cushion on the front of my feet when using these on ruck marches. Heel support and ankle support is superb thus far.
